I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]
Philippians 4:13 (AMP)
The Spirit of Strength, also referred to as the Spirit of Might empowers you and strengthens your inner self, which manifests in your physical body. As your inner self strengthens, your soul flourishes, leading to physical well-being. A robust soul results in a healthy individual capable of accomplishing anything.
May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality],
Ephesians 3:16 (AMP)
God the Father is always willing to pour out His Spirit on men and women who seek Him and have the desire or the calling for Kingdom expansion. Samson was called to save the Israelites from the Philistines who had overpowered them for over 40 years. Samson’s first manifestation of might was tearing a lion into pieces by the Spirit of God.
At that moment the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him, and he ripped the lion’s jaws apart with his bare hands. He did it as easily as if it were a young goat. But he didn’t tell his father or mother about it.
Judges 14:6 (NLT)
The Spirit of Strength gives you deep roots in God. It makes you unshakeable when the storm comes. You will not be double-minded or be afraid. You will have confidence in a mighty God who works through you to accomplish all things.
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP)
The Spirit of Strength gave Joshua the confidence to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land.
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 (NLT)
The Spirit of Strength will give you the strength and power to do impossible things you could never accomplish alone.
