Proverbs 1:23 (New Living Translation)

It is amazing to have someone wise to turn to when we need advice, and who better to seek guidance from than God, the ultimate Counselor? When we seek help from Him, we get direct insight on how to navigate our path. If we turn to God first during difficult times, He promises to lead and guide us. With God’s guidance, we can walk with confidence and purpose, knowing that we’re on the right path.

When filled with the Spirit of Counsel, we can offer life-changing advice and support to others because the Great Counsellor will direct us. The lives of Joseph and Daniel are examples of this, as they allowed the Spirit of Counsel to guide them in making significant changes in their time. With God’s direction, we, too, can make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Proverbs 20:18 reminds us of the importance of seeking good advice before engaging in battles. With the help of wise counsel, our plans are more likely to succeed. So, let us turn to God, the greatest Counselor of all, and trust that He will guide us on our journey. With Him by our side, we can face any challenge with hope and joy, knowing fully that victory is on our side.

Plans succeed through good counsel; don’t go to war without wise advice.
